S.T Dupont Paris Made in France silver Tone Lighter

Good afternoon and hello ladies and gentlemen,

I really am hoping that maybe somebody could help me with finding out some information and possibly tell me the authenticity of this being a genuine S.T Dupont lighter or not now please? My sister recently bidded on eBay on a silver Tone mixed items of jewellery ect and this lighter was included in the bundle too.
However now she doesn't know anything about the authenticity or what metal it is actually made of either.
Would anybody possibly know of any information websites or perhaps if there is a way of getting it confirmed by its serial number maybe?
Absolutely any help or advice now would be very greatly much appreciated.
