Hello, I have this jewelry set; a necklace, bracelet and possibly earrings. I'd like to date these and get any information about them. They do not test positive for gold. The necklace pendant unscrews to hold something; maybe perfume? Could these be real semi precious stones? I can't find any stamps or markings on this. Some of the bigger stones on the bottom are missing. Any information is appreciated. Thank you!

They are not real stones. Glass. The picture of the pink "stone" shows the air bubbles.

The metal is a pot metal with gold tone wash.

I would date to the 1960s-70s. But wait for others to confirm.

The piece that unscrews is a perfume (and the top has a little dobber). Plated pot metal, glass (I agree with seeing the bubbles...and the "pearl" is fish luster coated glass).

LOVE the angel and (Odin? Greenman?) head! It reminds me of Florenza pieces and people who like that, will like these.

Missing stones are generally a problem in costume pieces (unless good signed pieces), but looks like someone could probably rework the piece a bit? Stuff like that usually sells as a bits and bobs group. Save it up for a bundle sale of a few fixable items or use the earrings to add to it and take off the piece with the missing stones (no screw backs to them?)?

Perfume necklace should do well to sell on its own if not missing stones.

    I agree with ClutteredCloset...late '50s-early 70s.

For the sake of keywords, dauber not dobber, as in daubing perfume. Those fob styles were very popular from about the early 60s - much as charm bracelets were. Victorian Revival and all that.

Agree with what others have said. Very cool set, missing stones is a problem, but hope you can figure something out in that regard. Love this kind of costume jewelry! Very flashy and over the top. Typically this kind of thing is fairly heavy and well made.

Wanted to ask, is the charm bracelet missing some charms? The current spacing implies two (or more) are missing. I wonder if the "earrings" you mentioned might actually be charms? Since they are two of the same, perhaps not, but noticed that the small ring on the top was exactly what the charms looked like, just some food for thought.

Thank you all!!! Very good information. After taking the pictures I was wondering if possibly those are charms instead of earrings. Lucille.b, I think you are right. And the one charm does look like a wax seal. So cool and thanks to each of you for helping me understand this piece. I think I am going to keep the necklace for myself and put essential oils inside since I use them all the time. As for the bracelet, I'm not sure. The pieces are pretty cool. But everything is a bit bulky and heave for my liking ;-)

The missing cabs are an easy fix in and of themselves; the hard part would be finding the same size cabs that wouldn't look too dissimilar.

    Very cool bracelet!

Yup, the "wax seal" is a copy of a Victorian fob. The whole thing is Victorian Revival which is a good keyword to use.

I've bought cabs on Ebay before now: if you can measure accurately, it's an easy enough fix.
