    Ah ha. Rudbeckia aka echinacea makes sense. Also called coneflower, indeed.

    I grew some lovely oteospermums last year - light blue petals with dark blue centres specked with gold. If you like daisies, have a look at those.

    2. Osteospermums!!!???? Don't the poor things have a weekday name?

    Just looked them up -- gorgeous! I shall commit "Osteospermums" to memory, and find someone to impress with its usage. :cool:

    In the interim, which promises to be Very Long, I'll call it Cape Daisy.

    I do tend to use Latin names, 'cos so many common names have multiple owners! ;)
