Find? Yeah. Rummaging in my Hoard and decided to stare closely at a pair of earrings I've had FOREVER.

Tiniest 9 ct hallmark ever. There's a lesson in that. ;)

From the 50% off sale. They priced them high, so it didn't sell before that.

I found this Brush-McCoy vase at the thrift for $12. It's the larger vase in the front. It matches the smaller vase behind it that I've had for a few years.
    It's 6.5" high.
The glaze is called Art Vellum.

And yesterday I found this 14k pink sapphire eternity ring mixed in with some costume jewelry. Missing 2 stones, which I will replace soon.

Hammering the keys might not translate too well to hammering on pottery.

I realized I never uploaded shots of this haul. This was a church sale a few weeks back, one that was done in by Covid for a few years. Spent about $100 and did indeed get the goods. the knot earrings turned out to be $14 in fool's gold and one necklace I didn't bother photographing was damaged costume. Redonated that asap, The pearls are pearls - weigh a ton! The bangles are sponge coral. The sterling is sterling. The thunderbird is N/A. The white is bracelet is plastic, but I think it's better than I thought - need to research. The horn broach is horn, poor baby. The cross is gold-filled but the chain is 14k, as are the onyx and gold bracelet and earrings. The knots and yellow enamels were both no good. The cherry red earrings are something, but I'm not sure what. The pearl bracelet at the bottom is in my sister's Christmas bag. The pearls are pearls, the metal isn't marked, and the stones in the double clasp are white topaz or sapphire or something.

Nice little box! I went back to that estate sale I was at least week. They had a ton of stuff left over, the runner said this had never happened to her before. I didn't go early figuring I'd already gotten most of the good stuff.

The Waterford stemware was all still there and still sat when I left. The price wasn't bad, if no good for resale, but the market is gone. A lot of the stuff was yesterday's antiques. Teacups and silverplate. No market now unless it's going dirt cheap. I picked up an unmarked Waterford bowl for $2.50 that was inexplicably still there.

The Bingo was upstairs. I picked up two smallish linen tablecloths and two sets of napkins, they didn't match, all marked Dansk. Linen, marked Finnish Accent (Ritva Puotila) made in Finland. Paid about $10 for the pile. THe napkins were entirely unused. Left some with uck on them behind; they didn't match the tablecloths either. The napkins alone were worth the price of admission. I can't believe no one else found them.

The score of the day though was a bag of clothes at a local food bank's thrift for $5. They're closing down for the Winter and wanted it GONE. My sister made out like a bandit, although she doesn't know it yet. (if it all fits. If not she can donate it somewhere else.)
