You are right. I will try again. Looks like a few duplicates uploaded too for some reason.

That ring sizer has nothing to do with the ring at all.
If you remove it (with needle nose pliers) there may be more identifying marks underneath.
The stone could be nephrite jade.

THe ring sizer however isn't junk - looks like it has a 9 carat mark. I'll be the ring is marked too.

It does look like something else is there but very hard to see even when zoomed in on phone camera.
I will see if I can get a magnifying glass. Beautiful ring though isn't it ?

Looks like the 'elephant mark' is also a 9ct mark, with the lower part of the mark missing due to lack of space (or not very precise stamping). Hence the choice of 9ct gold for the spacer.
So I'd say 9ct for both the ring and the spacer.

I don't think it is antique, but it is a nice ring, and worth more than you initially thought.;)

Yup, the band is also stamped 9 ct. It may well be pre WW2: the use of just 9ct is uncommon after. I suspect the full mark may be 9ct SIL . Front will be silver, band will be gold.

So it looks like the sizer was put on upside down as the 35L possible another 3 that I can see is written the other way so my elephants now don't look like elephants but I'm still unsure of the stamp and there is something else written the otherside but again so hard to see.

    Yes, 9ct, so 9 carat.
The mark is upside down, if you turn the photo you will see 9ct.
