Rock or Fossil ?

I just got this Rock or fossil a week ago and i trying to find out what it could be , on the last 3 photos i use a digital microscope to get closes . At the last photo is inside and shell out side . Thank you for your time.

looks to me like it might be a fossilized egg. But that's just a guess on my part. google dinosaur eggs.

So it is hollow on the inside?

 

Maybe just a concretion. Sometimes some little object gets positioned in such a way that gunk builds up around it while retaining some sense of the original shape. Concretions can have weird shapes. There may be something very small at the center of that thing that started it off.

no it feel and look like hard dry leather and out side is real hard

 

I misunderstood, sorry, I thought when you said you took three photos inside, there was an opening.

 

could be, i seen alot of rock on line but this one feel different and looks

The last 3 photo are where the cracks is, the smooth side is the outside shell .

 

last picture you came see the inside and outside looks different .

 

I understand this is a closeup of the roundish "cleavage" in the rock surface. @moreotherstuff might be right then -an layering of various materials.

 

Since we mainly seem to be disputing whether it's an egg or a coprolite, looks like opinion is coming down on the side of fossil, rather than rock, with concretion being the dissenting position.
