    found in a basement ,where they did pottery?,probably unrelated

    The pilot hole in the center looks very smooth and has a specific shape. Looks a base that a shaft rotated in. That’s all I got.

    it was mounted on a thick block of wood..........i could see it attached to my work bench for shaping metal and such....but i would probably only use it every 10 years or so:banghead:
