Help with Chinese Marks

    Hi everyone,

    Browsing online and came across an item with chinese marks and hoping someone can help me. Here's two photos of what I'm looking at:

    As far as I know the character top right in the right hand pic means silver. At least one of the other characters would indicate the rough fineness.
    It depends on the piece whether it actually is silver, there are so many recent fakes about. The fact that the mark is stamped rather than cast is good, but without seeing the entire piece I have no idea if this could be the real deal.

    China has no hallmarking system btw, marking is done by the manufacturers themselves. With the current Chinese fakes market it is often a case of buyer beware.

    Very nice, Nate, and a genuine piece. It is silver, I hope @Asian Fever will check in and tell us more about the mark.:)
