Featured Wuerrtembergische MetallWarenFabrik 1906 Germany Vanity Set?

I found this Vanity set with a matching beveled glass mirror, brush and comb, clothes brush, two button hooks, and another brush. I found this pattern under the label Wuerrtembergische MetallWarenFabrik (WMF) on three sites, but you know how that goes. There are other labels that I haven't mentioned, because they could be apocryphal. I couldn't find any marks. Any thoughts or comments?

 

No matter who made it, it's a beautiful set! Art Nouveau or Jugenstil styling IMHO (can't be Art Deco with the button hooks.) Seems to me that there should have been marks somewhere if made by WMF, but stranger things have happened I guess.

Were the sites where you found similars selling sites or reference sites? I know you don't want to spread bad info, but it's hard to evaluate without seeing them.

I have a small collection of brushes and mirrors that I am going to hang on my bathroom wall. I haven’t posted them yet as I was waiting for my minor bathroom upgrade to be finished. This is by far the nicest. Thank you.

Did you check for tiny marks along the sides of the brushes? We want to see that ostrich. WMF designs were copied by other manufacturers.

I see that impossible name is giving you trouble. Here is one you can copy if you need to use it:
Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik .

Exchanging the ü for ue is acceptable. In which case it is:
Wuerttembergische Metallwarenfabrik .

When I get back I will do a more dilligent search I was looking for WFG. I will look for the ostrich instead.
Yes the name was giving me fits. I kept changing it from what I got from various sites.

Took forever. No ostrich Just a WFM then N I/O OX. Most marks were just N I/O OX until I looked at the large brush again.
According to this site a WFM alone is a mark.

I am totally amazed. One of those things that got packed away and forgotten.

 

The thing on the back of the mirror was grime, but the comb absolutely. Great work as usual.

 

Beautiful set Kiko,and by the way-to me it's a miracle that even the Germans can speak German.Welsh & German-what amazing languages.
