The base of this vase looks like Roseville to me so pretty sure a US company, but not seen this shape. Any Ideas?

    TIA, Bryan

Is the clay brownish? I don't recognize this off-hand.

Yeah kinda of a sandy brown color the glaze is chipped along the base and the color is light brown. Oh and it is 7" tall

Hi Bry, One thing I find unusual about this vase is the horizontal handles. Most vases seem to have vertical handles. I've been trying to ID a vase I have with horizontal handles for a few years now, so I'm attuned to that little detail.
Great glaze on your vase. Love it!

It doesn't look like a bybee base or clay to me. That clay color and white glazed bottom is really throwing me. I am coming up blank.

Yeah, the base is out of character for anything it could be based on the rest of it. Bybee was my first guess but not with that base.
It's really a good lookin' piece with a great glaze...but who? I dunno either.

Wow the ByBee piece sure is close in shape. I see a lot of ByBee around here and the newer stuff seems a lot cruder than this vase. The glaze looks wonderful but the shape is definitely throwing me

Ok had this vase at the Springfield Extravaganza and had a collector of Seldon Bybee buy it and told me this was definitely Seldon Bybee and that they have lots with the same base.

    Thanks, For your help
