I used to have books, but not anymore. I think these should be simple - not rare or exotic or anything.

8 1/4" high, pressed to resemble a wooden bucket:

7" high, alternating diamond and zipper panels, with a modest swirl:

I got rid of all my pitchers (or thought I had), but these were in a different place and got overlooked.

Think the second one is Finecut and Feather, but I'm not positive. Need to investigate

I'm not having a lot of joy finding it as "bucket". I've seen "wooden bucket", "oaken bucket", "wooden pail", but no consensus. And there's not many. They do seem to agree on Bryce as manufacturer, and c1880s, but is that reliable?

I wouldn't have thought to use "feather" in a search, but this does show up as "feather swirl" and assorted variations. Some of those also include "Doric" as ID'd by TallCakes. It's good to have name maker and date.

    Thanks.

As you can see, Bucket is OMN. This wasn't known when the several AKAs were given to it. Common practice is now to use the OMN, followed by the AKAs to aid those not yet caught up with reality. Doric is another OMN.

I don't know how you could do better than a catalog page. Thanks.

As stated, "feather" was a keyword that worked, and it wouldn't have occurred to me.

Don't know what went wrong with my reply to your post, but I've corrected it (and saved the image).
