I met a guy who was emptying out a storage unit & selling things at great prices to meet his final day deadline to be out. I bought a beautiful nude oil on canvas, a cool Edwardian woman's face door knocker & a couple of other pieces.

When I was packing up, he gave me 4-5 old frames for free & these 4 russian steam ship(?) prints for $20 total! They were professionally framed & I'm wondering if they have any value?
Also who the artist is (same for all 4 but I can't make it out)
And how old these might be? (the ships are from the 1920's)

Thanks all; I appreciate your help.

They're Greek, not Russian. Artist's name is Α. Μιχάνος, which would transliterate as A. Michanos, but I'm not finding anything in a quick search. One of the ships is named King Constantine. IM Translator is making Hyperaction out of ΎΠΕΡΟΚΕΟΝΙΟΝ, but maybe more like supertanker?

Thank you - hard to believe the artist isn't known; I think he did a great job on the ships!

    Hi Komokwa,
They are NOT boats. Ships have boats. Submarines are called boats since they do not have boats. Are you confused???:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Think ΎΠΕΡΟΚΕΟΝΙΟΝ may mean 'steamer'. The Ύ/Κ on a couple would be an abbreviation.
