Featured Glass fruit necklace!

A little delight although I would have thought uncomfortable to wear!
Any ideas of origin please?

Those are called tutti frutti. Usually Venetian beads, sometimes US assembled, 1950s or thereabouts.

Wow, theirs has got a banana! . I googled fruit necklace and didn't find anything similar so Thankyou for that link.

 

Also, one who wears this necklace should have a lovely tan; all that deeply colored fruit needs a proper background. Not so good for those of us who have a complexion which my father used to label, "the underside of a fish."

As in, "Get your nose out of that book and go outside in the sun!!!!"

 

Potentially a trip to A&E if worn on bare skin!

I thought these were Czech glass. However, most appear to be listed as Venitian.
These are called Fruit Salad.
