I received it from my 94 year old mother-in-law and her great aunt gave it to her. It has no markings on it at all. I've tried to find something like it online and can't find anything.

    Thanks so much!

    Size please.
Nippon either an individual nut dish or the master nut dish, depending on size.

  4. Thank you both for answering! The bowl is 3" across x 1-3/4" height. Is this worth anything do you think? How do you tell it's Nippon. I would just like to know for future reference so I know. Maybe you just have to have an eye for it. :)

Nippon is what Japan used to be called. Nippon was used prior to 1921 I believe, (you'll have to check me on the date)
    .
This is a classic shape and pattern. Also the thin porcelain.

You have one of the individual bowls. Many people will call this a salt dish when found individually. It is actually part of a set.
