    Maybe @daveydempsey or @Bookahtoo
    Could move this to Furniture.

    If this isn't Asian or Indonesian.
    Then it looks like possibly home made from burl wood.

    @Illielee
    are you in the US?

    It's possible this an older piece of furniture, how old and from where, I don't know....
    • Cracks and fissures in pedestal I don't think you'd see in newly manufactured furniture
    • Top attached with dowels
    • Subtle incised embellishments to pedestal
    • Interesting wood grain (spots)

    This crack - I don't think you'd see in a new piece of production furniture.

    I think you were right about Indonesian...found some dutch colonial pieces that were obviously from the same area of production. the base was unique though...I think the spots you point out are the adze or other wheelwright tools and think it was a cart wheel or some type of spoked thing from an earlier period.

    I was pointing out those undulating trios of vertical lines on the conical piece - but they may be wood grain, I don't know.

    And looking at the dark spots on the underside of that cone, not the tool marks...

    Just very interesting wood.

    @Any Jewelry knows about Indonesia

    I was guessing Indonesia when I thought it might be new ;)

    Nice table @Illielee
