    It really doesn't look like - at least to me.
    Perhaps it was someone unclear on the difference between them?

    If it's as new as I think it is, somebody in China had never seen a European sparrow. Or a golfball.

    LOL :):D Thanks komokwa and evelyb. I really don't think it's new at all, but I'm always open to being wrong. It just seems if it were newer, it would maybe even have some eyes or something. I can't find anything like it in my searches. Maybe someone will want it just for being an oddity, lol.:smuggrin:

    One of my ex MILs had a old canary whose feet looked like that. She never clipped the poor things nails.:yuck:

    Ah! So perhaps the OP's bird is a baby Speagle?
    :)

    Just kidding. It is amazing how much the two do look alike - not the the type of bird, or the material - but the base and the BIG feet.
