    But...

I'm on my phone - are there marks on that page?

Or Op's comp? Just not seeing it?

No, but 'Sarchi' seems to be the consensus.

The eBay listing text had only this to say:

    "Sculpture Art Deco Alabaster"
Alabaster lamp vintage early twentieth century Art Deco signed PROF. SARCHI (Prof. Sarchi nineteenth / twentieth) representation of a young woman sitting near an Egyptian sphinx on a carrier engraved with hieroglyphics. Wear on the toe, in alabaster spots visible on the photos, as amended electrification.
    Sizes
    Length: 32 Height : 38 Depth : 19

According to the Pinterest pin, it sold for $6500. Not sure whether it would pick up if a best offer was accepted.

No, that is the mark on the one you & INH found, but there are better, more legible examples after that.

This wasn't an order. I wanted you to see what I was seeing, almost an abundance, but mostly not lamps.

About what? OP's mark I think is on a side of the base somewhere OP hasn't looked. Have to say, OP's is by far the best I've seen, maybe Sarchi's masterpiece.

Thanks to all for your replies. I understand the need for better photos but unfortunately the lamp is currently in a different country to me and I won't have access to it for a while. I will also then look for a signature and the wiring, my mother tells me there is a name/signature.
In the meantime I am attaching a photo to show where it lights up, front and back. It does indeed have hieroglyphics and certainly the Sarchi model is the closest thing I have seen so far, albeit the colours are quite different, so thanks for the lead

Wondering if one or more bulbs inside are not burned out at present? But thanks for letting us have some idea of how it looks when lit.

I don't think there can be any question at all that it is by Sarchi & doubt additional photos will enable us to find out any more than we have. But we'd love to see them just to satisfy our curiosity. :)

If it is, I'd take it over any of the others.

We have limited views of this one. Since the several we've found are each different from one another, maybe there were changes in how they were assembled. This one really does strike me as being an advance on the others.

What are the dimensions @laszlo ? In some images it looks massive.

This is not a copy of anything, imo

It is illuminated perfectly - from behind, anyway.
