Let's see if this works. For anyone restoring old lamps, this would be a bonanza.

 

Same place has bulb sockets, maybe I should buy them and re-distribute to peeps here?

 

This lot is 15. Plus sh. But they look newer than the plugs to me, but I’m ignerunt. The innards are availntoo in another lot. I just bought the plugs for an art project. But if you need any I can resell to recoup basically what shipping will cost me.

 

The sockets are only part of a socket. Not worth anything as is.

 

For unk reasons each socket part was put in a separate tub, and each tub being sold as separate item, $15. Ea. So is that type socket, complete, worth anything? All I know is that the 1920’s type is a bit different shape and is “never” found as shiny as those.

 

Fairly modern stuff. New ones can be had fairly cheap.

 

At $20 USD, those plugs were a STEAL. Somebody got lucky.

I would think those shells are not worth the effort. Missing the paper sleeves, fairly modern in design, and like Terry said, no innards.

Thanks, yes I grabbed the plugs, wanted a number of them for an art project and work some deal with forum members for any excess. With shipping/handling I’ll probably have over $50. In them

 

Those Bakelite plugs are great for a lot of restoration projects: lamps, radios, old fans, etc. I grab them at estate sales all of the time and have amassed a rather sizable amount, myself.

Looks like some wayward brass parts in there as well. If you happen to come across any beaded chains with acorns on them in the mix, I'd be interested. Even beaded chains with the ball ends, for that matter. Former for old 'fat boy' sockets refurbs, and the latter for hanging glass 'flycatcher' type light fixtures.

 

Agree with others who think the bakelite plugs are really the only worthwhile.
