I found these adorable old little dolls at a thrift shop. They look to be very old and made of some type of plaster or maybe paper mache. They are 9 1/2" tall. Their hair looks to be real human hair. Anyone have any info on these? Thanks!!

'Uncle Sam Lady Liberty dolls' seems to be a good place to start searching.

It looks like the word "Library" is part of the text on the bottom of the foot.

Yes, I think it says Central Library.

I wonder, then, if they once belonged to a library. Although I don't have useful information, I think they are cute and would be nice as decorations.
