    The latest that I would have gone there would be summer of '63 for my Grandma passed at only 54. :( I had NO clue how young that was until I attained the same age and passed it by.
    This leads me to believe the farmer may have been my Great Grandfather...

    Just wanted to share this coincidence with y'all. Got a bag of jewelry at SA today, and this cross caught my eye as I thought it might be gold filled.

    I noticed an odd spot on the front bead. Any one care to guess what it is? LOL.

    I think I was there in the summers of '61 and '62. It feels like several lifetimes ago!

    Indeed. That I recall it at all comforts me that those were very special building block times, certainly for a 'city boy'. :)
