I have a collection of vintage perfumes. There is Sabrina perfume. I can not find information about this perfume. Maybe someone knows something. 20190309_181743.jpg 20190309_181801.jpg 20190309_181848.jpg

certainly not high-class. the company is registered as "SA à conseil d'administration" with 4 lads giving their name and no number of employees known. with a capital of a ridiculous quarter million € only, it's a typical company that produces somewhere in the pampas of other countries some sort of what was called "Pipi de Vache Polonais" after the iron curtain fell.
their address "Avenue du Campon - Le Cannet" is only taken because of the neighbourhood to Grasse and other places that produce the real high quality stuff.

As Fid hinted, many of the major perfume houses have their perfumes made in the town of Grasse, just inland from Cannes, where the address on you box is. The Grasse perfume manufacturers also sell the famous perfumes in non-designer lines in their outlet shops. This could be one of those.

Just a thought, the name Sabrina could refer to the movie Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn. Audrey Hepburn was the muse of designer Hubert de Givenchy, who also had a perfume line. Their cooperation started with the movie Sabrina.

There was an English lass called Sabrina who visited Australia several times last century.
The lifesavers liked her a lot:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Those are 'real' perfumes, well-known perfumes by the big names.

founded 1.1. 1979. "boutique en ligne"... which means an empty office or a simple letterbox... additional address details: bretelle de l'autoroute = slip road...

Very likely name chosen because of association with Audrey Hepburn. Manufactured post 1972 when 5-digit codes were introduced in France. Given packing, 1980s likely. And, from the ingredient list, the perfume equivalent of sugar water. A product meant to deceive.

Thank you for sharing items from your collection, Stepan. The Paris gift box is charming; too bad it appears to have been unappreciated.

:)The most amazing thing is that the jars have an original perfume. How could a woman hold out and not use them? This is somewhere in 1950. :)

Sometimes women don't use things because they're just too nice to use.

I bought a bottle of 4711 today, still sealed and unused. Packaging is at least the fifties.

There was a remake of Sabrina with Harrison Ford. Not sure when that was.

But no association with perfume, I think. Not like the Hepburn-Givenchy connection.
