I use to Marko most of what was in my spare room was jewelry and it was in dressers, storage containers boxes, shameful mine was a hot mess. but my spare roo, is still a mess.. lol, (work in progess) can almost clean my shed out, all drawers cabinets purged, but that part of me wishes it was still full of cool things
I went over to my daughters last week, she has me beat now at hoarding, mostly her husband but she's bitten too. I have bought him so really cool dragons plus he has a zillion others

Sharona, it still kills me to part with ANY piece of jewelry.

LOL! I have to say, their book cases have really held up and they are a nice light colored wood. Got them about 18 years ago.

Bev aka thelmasstuff Colored pencil artist extraordinaire ;)

I had a friend with this problem. She finally realized that transvestites have big feet and need to wear women's shoes. All summer long there are shows in Provincetown with some impressive performers who do Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, etc. and they wear size 10-12. I'll bet you can find them online.

I'd love to see more photos of people's "hoards." Seems like nobody else has posted one lately.

I'll save the effort on shooting pictures for you. >>> Have you seen the end shot in 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'? Yeah, well I have three of those. :)

Yeah - going into my basement is somewhat like entering Warehouse 13, only my stuff isn't as cool.

Hmmm.... I had no clue what Warehouse 13 was so I looked it up. :) Maybe I should designate mine with numbers as well... :)

The show was (as far as I know) discontinued, but it was great fun.

    Hi, everyone. :)

It's been a long time since I posted and thought this would be the perfect thread in which to reappear. I've missed being here and am enjoying catching up on threads.

Af, wow, what you accomplished is phenomenal!

I stopped selling last year and swore I wouldn't start again until I got our space organized enough to safely store larger and fragile listed items and easily find them. I used to sell mostly small things that took up almost no room, so this is new for me.

This thread was a primary inspiration for me to believe we really could accomplish this... a BIG thank you to everyone who's posted!

We've been working hard at it and getting very close in terms of creating and organizing storage areas. We still have a fair way to go with general neatness and aesthetics, but I'll keep plugging along 'til we get there!

Anyway, I'm glad to be back!

    Welcome back Pat.
I can't show pics of my space. If I go in, I may not find my way back to civilization again. :)

    Thanks, Janet and Pearls! :)

Pearls, I know what you mean... has been true of parts of our house, too. By the way, I noticed in another thread that you're originally from Brooklyn. Me, too. :)
