Cast Iron and other treasures

    Hi, just joined this group. We enjoy hunting for special pieces at estate sales and other fun places - our new addiction! We Especially like cast iron cookware.
    In my adventures recently, I found a French copper fish poaching pan with
    hand-dovetailed bottom seam and also a set of 5 large brass kitchen/hearth utensils with forged iron handles with rattail hooks and hang on an iron bar. Researching value and history of these treasures and always welcome ideas!

    Thaanks for the welcomes!
    I’m looking for a cast iron BSR cover for a sportsman deep pan # 3060 and #3052. The lid fits both...I think it’s #3093.
    Any help appreciated!

    Yep, hello and welcome. Re your request, it's about the most specialist thing I've seen so far on this forum, not that I've been around that long. I thought cast iron was just cast iron. So, on a learning curve here - BSR? All those numbers? What does it all mean?
