Featured Victorian Couch (I think) any info on it?

    Hey guys, I just bought this couch off a girl on FB and am just so intrigued by it. All she said about the couch was "... only info I know is that it came out of an antique farmhouse from the 1800s. The house was passed down generation to generation and the woman I bought it from said it was her (great, I think) grandparents."

    Can anyone else tell me about it? Century? Maker? Possible worth? I'm just a curious soul with a mind for a good history.

    I was looking at the garage first. Can we see the underside of the couch? That's where the marks are.

    Lovely couch ( Federalist/Empire style ?). Keep the couch, I'll take the garage & loft/studio !

    People would like to see more of the construction. And are there any labels or names on the couch?

    AJ's right-need to see the 'bones' (construction) of the piece. Could be early 19th or 1920's Duncan Phyfe (very collectible also).
    I'm no 'Furnie/Furnace'-furniture person,don't see much early 19th century much in the West.The Oregon Trail & Gold Rush weren't kind to furniture.
    A worthy FB find.
