Wolf Head Silver Statue Help

Curious what this is. It was cheap and interesting. I have not been able to identify the mark on the plaque. I'm not really sure what this represents - wolf and man thing and do you think the mark would indicate the statue portion is sterling? or do you think it is silver plate. Frankly, only purchased it on the off chance it was solid sterling. I figured a 50/50 gamble. 4 1/4" H x 2 1/4" W x 3 1/2" L

it 'does ' say 925 !!
and that's a heavy metal stand to balance the weight....

I would think something that substantial would be marked on the piece itself ? Nothing on the bottom? I think its supposed to be a native American.

It is. I've not gotten it in yet. I picked up a grouping of bits and hated to pay shipping on just one lot. I thought i would take a gamble on it since everything else was so darn expensive at the auction house and I thought it was an interesting bit.

Ah well... was really hoping someone knew the hallmark details as that would probably answer all the other questions.

Pseudo-NA Shapeshifter/Totem-925 should also be stamped on the bust somewhere.
