I found a bunch of cuff links I had hidden from myself and this pair has either stone or glass in them.

Anyone know which it is? And what it's called?

Excuse the fingerprints on the left hand one. Thanks!

    I have a hunch it's art glass.

I would think glass, but would be happy to be shown otherwise.

The only way to be sure is to have them tested :)

Looking at the pictures of real moss agate, makes me pretty sure these cufflinks are glass. The stone has more colors and some clear in it.

    Thanks everyone!

    Agate

The way the moss floats in that milky blue ground. It has a 3 dimensional depth I don't expect to see in glass.

I agree with Hollyblue and Scouthouse. Look at the difference in the two links and they differ appreciably even though they may have been cut from the same stone. I like the cuff links. Very early on.

I mean, are they plated, solid gold, marked? What kind of fastener? They're nice....

Maybe throw in an image :)

How long did they use this kind? These claim to be Victorian.
