I have what I believe is a turquoise ring and necklace set. I know there are different colors of turquoise, but I am not sure id this the stone in these pieces or if it is something else. Both pieces are signed by the same artist, look like D. Jim. I know there are several Native American artisans with the last name Jim, but I have not found this one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    probably an older Hawaiian souvie.

I've not seen any like this (new) in the past 28 years.

Non Native & I don't recognize the stone as north american turquoise.

I have had jewelry set with variscite stones with similar veining and greenish color.

I've seen turquoise like that before but it does look more like variscite. Artisan stuff, looks like.

I had a friend who retired from the phone co. and started making jewelry. His background was Seminole. He and his wife traveled to Arizona every year to buy chunks of turquoise. I really liked the green and have several pieces made with it. Here is a link to Damele Turquoise images. One think I learned from George is that fine jewelry generally has an opening behind the stone to provide air. The exception seems to be turquoise. His rings had a solid back like yours. I recommend you polish the tarnish off the silver and you may be able to read the name, plus the jewelry will be much more attractive.

Elizabeth & Bev thanks for the links to the turquoise. Will have to clean up the pieces a little bit a see if I can get a better look at the signature.
