Kardinalisimo, I really like that iron bank. :)

    I don't know if anyone is interested but . . .

"The Georgian Colonial style building, begun in 1935 and opened in 1937, is a landmark on Main Street, visited by over 100,000 people every year."

It is (still?) located at 155 North Main Street, Wellsville NY 14895

Looks like a vintage (perhaps 1970's/1980's) reproduction of an earlier cast-iron bank.

Correct. It says 1987 right on it. The 50th anniversary of the library was when the banks were put out, according to one of the listings I linked.

    I must have missed that.

These newer cast-iron banks still have some decent value, probably in the $30 range for the OP's example. An early 1900's bank would have much smoother casting, more intricate detail, and better painting plus a much higher price tag.
