    It is an oil lamp. They used to have these in Indonesia, but it could be of Indian or Middle Eastern origin.

    Indonesian oil lamp, lot 923 on this page, estimate 30-60 euro, didn't sell:

    The one in the auction was antique. Yours looks recent, but there are probably not as many where you are as there are in the Netherlands.
