    Hi,
I'm trying to figure out the name on this club - hope someone can read this.
'First Quality fish mark _____ special.
I've not seen a club like this, has some lead (?) on the side, looks like wood plugs on the other part.
    Any ideas appreciated.

I wasn't sure that was what you meant. But looking again I see that the CC in the link also uses a script font that is very much the same as the script on the club head.

So I agree with you too. :)

I guess not that Belmont - lots of history but not in golf, it became a golf course in 2001.

I don't think Milt meant for you to look at the country club as connected to your golf club (and I certainly didn't mean to suggest it either.) There are way too many "Belmont Country Clubs" for that.

I just meant that the interpretation of the script on your club head should be "Belmont" and not some of the other suggestions.

Sorry if that sent you the wrong way.

Personally I'd see what could be found from the "fish" logo rather than trying to search further on Belmont. Looks British (Scottish?) to me - which in your neck of the woods would make a lot of sense, no?

    lol, thanks baker.
I tried the fish logo but nothing useful comes up - lots of information on fishing though:happy:
This was in a bag with 8 clubs, 4 from Scotland, 3 from the USA and this one - will keep searching. I'm learning lots about golf clubs, maybe I should try playing it one day.

I see Bulwark, which coincidentally is a place name in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

    Fish....what fish ??

I found this relating to a putter.....
"UNKNOWN MAKER: A Gem type line scored putter with an interesting Boar's head mark at the toe. "Hand Forged Belmont Model" on the back."
