To me, the glove box kinda gives the game away, if one is wearing gloves one is also going to have a coat.
If just for umbrellas, your argument makes sense but when you add in a glove box? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, lol :hilarious:
Course, they are english so who knows but if i was gonna bet, I'd bet the ones you posted are cut down hall trees/entry closets to make them more marketable for a modern home.

coat hangers could have been on the wall, or on a mirror......or on a separate stand placed next to the seat..... NO ???

When I said chopped, I meant that it has been shortened by a carpenter, craftsman, cabinet maker and made to look original, not just sawn or axed :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

The one Komokwa posted at the end looks more like a settle. There are plenty over here in the UK that do not have places for coats :), they are just stick/umbrella stands. I was curious about the value though. I've looked through many places - it's v difficult :(

The settie , yes...was just added to say , you can have a glove box & stand..with no coat rack..

Yes value.....that's why this is not a site that gives out appraisals .
There are too many factors involved in finding out prices 4 things.....but we do try to aid in that matter by pointing you in the right direction armed with all the facts....and try our best to figure out just what it is that you've shown us.

That's when the fight breaks out !!! :playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::playful::eek:
