    hi everyone.

my dad gave me a whole bunch of antique books when i was 14 years old. he said, 'there's no need to rob banks son, all you have to do is read these books and learn about antiques'.....

mind you my grandad was a 'rag and bone man' so dad had antiques in his veins i guess.

every dealer has had to buy a big bag of lemons to find a plumb. without mentioning too many of the lemons, i will mention my best plumb, which was a fragment of royal shabtii, originally found by napolian in 1799, then it resurfaced, when i bought it in england at a house clearance auction in harrogate, which i then went on to sell it for a tidy profit at christie's king street.

i deal seven days a week, and when i ain't dealing, i'm always looking for items that are of interest in the researching of them.

i am looking forward to interacting with you folk, and will try to help on areas where is have expertise.

    cheers,

    martin.
