Red Glass Vase

    Any hints on the maker? What would you call this shade of red?

    With the clear area in the bottom, I'd assume the color is due to an applied 'lustre.' The color 'red' doesn't really do it, I'd call it more of a rose lavender, but that's just a guess.

    I'd call it aubergine.

    I have 3 of these 2 clear brown and one clear and stripped, are they newer
    handkerchief style vase, is that it. they seem like strong glass if that makes sense or heavy, maybe some kind of tempering?
