19th century Mulberry transferware

I did get the name of a woman in Texas who allegedly does museum quality restoration on broken china. I'm reluctant to ship the pieces that far, but at this point I should take the chance. After all, I've got a box full of broken punch bowl in the attic that isn't going to fix itself.

 

The handy hangers chap's email is on the website, and he does say he ships, so drop him an email? I've been pleased with mine.

 

I get so far behind on this particular board... this was a really interesting discussion.

Check with the museums around you. I bet they have people a lot closer. I had a couple here in Jersey that restored a large Weller vase. I knew where the breaks were and when it returned I accused them of buying another vase and switching it.. Contacted them last year, I wanted my minature blue willow soup tureen lid fixed. I tried several times but could not get the dome angle right so it would fit. Alas they retired and moved. They were recommended by the MET in NY.

MFA Boston is the closest one. I've been a member forever so I guess I could ask. The girl in TX estimated $85 plus the shipping back & forth.
