Featured Sterling blue bracelet- please help with maker

    Hello,

    This bracelet is marked on the clasp "silver" (and it test as sterling) and L in a circle and then something I can't read.. but it looks like ends in "uca" (ica/uco/ico). The "stones" are just glass..
    Any ideas about the maker ? I've looked for makers starting with L, but no luck.. thank you so much for your help! :)

    It is gorgeous, Xristina. The mark is pre 1948, as stated, and I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be 1920s.
    I can't find the maker, but then I don't have the Morrill and Berk book. (Waiting for the price to drop.;) )

    Page 246 simply says
    "L in a circle" no attribution. Nothing listed in the index

    Aha!:pompous:
    The seller said 'Maker is referenced in Mexican Silver by Morrill and Berk'. Well, yes, true, but you would expect a little more with such a description.:rolleyes:

    I don't have many books on jewelry because there is always something (read "bracelet/ring/necklace/brooch/etc") that wants to come home with me (like this one).. and I don't have the heart to say "no".. :);)
