    Will do! (Though it might be a couple months from now. Got a lot of other restoration projects in the pipeline, including the house itself.)

    2019 is sure shaping up to be a busy/expensive year...

    JMHO. I'd rather work with liquid wood in this case. or composite filler.

    I use composite filler to fill in large badly damaged parts of my house. Becomes one with the wood and provides strength.

    sometimes woven fabric spares you a bit of the composite when the area is really large.
