    Hi,
I remember the first Tut exhibit in NYC. My other half's aunt and uncle came to visit from Texas and wanted to see the exhibit. So the four of us went to the museum. There was a line for three blocks so we went in and at the check in area was three young females. I inquired about the wait time. One of the young ladies said it was about five hours. I was a donor to the museum board. I said to the ladies that I was xxxxx xxxxxx a member of the board. They said wait for a moment and they made a phone call. They hung up and escorted the four of us to the front of the line and we waltzed in. I do not know who they talked to but we were given a royal tour of the exhibit. The aunt and uncle were more impressed by the fact than we got in without waiting.
I always wondered who they talked to since I was on the 100 dollar a year donation board not on the 10 grand board.:rolleyes:

(LOL) It was probably worth the $100 to cut the line. I have a bunch of souvenir pieces of jewelry from the exhibit; this is a lot older than those and made differently.
