Antoher Chair. East Lake Period? Older?

I could not find a chair exactly like this one. The chairs that I found that were similar were all East Lake. This doesn't look quite like East Lake to me. The chair that was the most similar, said it was circa 1860/1875. The leather seat is a replacement, you can see the old holes from the rush or cane seat it once had. Any thoughts?

Looks like Eastlake to me also with those spindles, front braces, reed/fluting or whatever design on the frame: top and other rails, stiles, etc... Here is one that looks similar to this one that has a round seat with same short scallop apron under the seat, reed/fluting on the frame, short spindles, and similar turned legs. It appears to have the original cane.

This chair is a bit of a mixed bag. I think it dates to about 1880 and is transitional in style. There are elements of renaissance revival, Eastlake and aesthetic period design. It is a dining chair but I could see how some might term this a tavern chair.

Possibly Yew wood spindle back chair ... the seat isn't original and was mostly a rush seated chair. Circa 1890-1910.

 

Seat would have been cane rather than rush.
