Cut crystal fruit/banana stand. Help please

Hello, and thanks for your time. I usually stay clear of these items, but the price was right and it is beautiful. Has a real nice ring to it, great sparkle. I was leaning towards West Germany,but have no idea really. Stands 7" tall x 10" long x 4 3/4" wide. 8 panels on the foot. If I can not find the originals, I would appreciate help in describing it. Banana stand?

 

I dare say it would hold a rich mans banana split !

There is an ice parlor at the shore that serves banana splits with 12 scoops of ice cream and all the trimmings, it runs 17 dollars but can feed four. I tried to eat one by myself so it would be free. It was wonderful but I had to pay.

I think you are correct in thinking European. Probably 1960s or later.
