figurine marked with sort of Meissen mark, is it authentic?

the style looks right but this mark does not turn up in the data base I am using. Beneath the swords it looks like a "V" with a horizontal slash. Above the swords its a triangle w/ a line through it.

 

Looks like an A to me, above the hilts. There is a blurred letter on the other side, also an A?

 

Hello Any: I think that's pretty close. On the same side as the hilts its an "A" or "V" with a line. On the other side it looks like a triangle with a line across.

 

nothing in the Rontgen book on these. The Meissen marks invariably have a six sided star or else nothing. Mayer and Son from Dresden made swords with an "M" below the hilt but those swords also have another horizontal line...

 

CHris seems to have identified a very similar one as Achille Bloch posted previously on the discussion boards. Makes a lot of sense:

Looks like an A and B to me so likely Achille Bloch as Chris noted in the thread sunday silence found: "Top letter 'A', bottom letter 'B', thus Achille Bloch, Paris (France), 1920+..."
