Is this 17th century chest genuine?

Dhruv here's a less silly hopefully more pertinent suggestion- Perhaps UK Forum Members can forward Dhruv other current offerings of similar chests for perhaps lower prices.I have no idea if such beautifully carved 17th cent chests are common in Britain,but I noticed a previous post said-'you can buy 17th C chests for a few hundred here.'
I have no expertise on British prices as the shipping to the US would be unimaginable.I've tried to bid on UK Auctions but the mail charges are insane.

I haven't seen many chests that have carvings of this nature, so I think it is rare. I can imagine the high shipping price to the US, especially for something heavy.

Again sorry Dhru-The chest is beautiful,haunting even.Yep,shipping to the States could be as much as $750-and perhaps way,way more.
European/UK auctions offer some extraordinary things-but unfortunately the US being an Island unto itself in many ways- mail charges are over the top.
PS-Certain factions here want all mail 'privatized' and aren't interested in the USPS succeeding or continuing to exist.I believe the US Postal Service was one of the very first branches of our government the Founding Fathers created.
