It’s large and I am not familiar with selling Artwork at all. I took a few photos , pardon the glare from the glass …Thank you for any direction….

"David Lee" and "Hawaii" (clue "Aloha") brings up this fellow with an internet search.

And here is a sold work of his that appears to be identical (?) to yours.

If it's double-signed like that odds are it's a print. One signature is in the print and the other is on the print.

That's a good point. And he does appear to sell serigraphs on silk.

@evelyb30 a friend of mine , that collects art , ( not Asian ) looked at it through a loop , and said it’s on silk ? She explained to me what to look for as a print ( although I don’t carry a lighted loop around with me ….

Some things are printed on silk; I've seen that before.

Chinese painter that signs both in Chinese and English, and sells to a western audience. Decorative painting, in the class "(paintings of) Flowers and Birds" (Hua Niao Hua.) Can't tell from the pictures for sure, but looks like it's painted on silk.
Could be a print, but may well be just am original. Value will be very much what a buyer will decide it's worth. The one Debora posted above from Liveauctioneers.com looks exactly the same as yours. If it's not the same piece, then that's a print for sure, because it's simply impossible to do watercolor copies by hand that look alike such as these.

@JayBee Thank you for your informative in put … I do know it’s on silk , although I haven’t stopped for a moment to see if “ I “ see brush strokes or if it is indeed ( printed ) on silk? A friend of mine looked through her magical loop Lol! She is an art fancier , and did say it’s not a ( paper print ) it’s on silk . So I ordered a loop so I can get a better understanding of what what she looks at , and educate myself a bit. Thanks again

David Lee did both original watercolors on silk then numbered lithiographs of select paintings on silk as well the sizes ranged from 20x24 up to 42x72 that I have seen. Most of his lithographs run from 150-650. Original watercolors on silk vary, but if it is a original watercolor painting, then 500-15,000 would be the range.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

it's a print.......and double signed means likely a hotel exposition where the artist was present to sign prints he was selling to the tourists..

    old thread...I know !;)
