    HOLY MOLY!!! I can't believe you guys did that! I swear my eyes were going to bleed from staring at the signature. The painting is in Atlanta so Mobile would make sense. I should not have assumed the work to be continental. The sitter definitely preferred the beauty of fine French items. I see a Thomire style candelabra and a French Empire style cabinet. The painting is quite large and I have not been able to get it off the wall to see if there is anything verso. As soon as I get some guys into the estate to help me, I will check.
