Have you ever seen a tea pot like this before ?

    20190204_205012.jpg IMG_4545.JPG IMG_4546.JPG IMG_4547.JPG img_4549.jpg I have had this unusual tea pot for some years picked up at a local yard some , just though it was unusual with the leather straps and beads , I cant read the signature , has anyone seen anything like it ?

    This is just a guess, but the first line looks like it says "Patchouli" but the second line I can only guess at 1970 at the end.

    It says (in Russian)
    Rostov-on-Don
    then the surname of the artist: Tamli (or Tomli, not sure) G. '97 (year)

    Hi @matthew2 and WELCOME to ANTIQUERS!! I believe your very first image of the signature is clearer of any of the other signatures posted on your "tea pot".....which is a very unusual looking pot indeed!!!! I've played with that "siggy" and could not do any better than you did to begin with!!! And it looks like just above, @April07 just nailed it!!! SO awesome!!!!!

    My friend Dave worked for an NGO in Rostov for over a decade. There's a big university there; odds are someone in the art department made this as a gift, either a student or more likely one of the instructors.
