2 flower needle art pictures

Hi,
I have what I think are some sort of needle art. I think its a cool piece. My mom inherited this from her Aunt in Indianapolis, IN which is where my mom and her family was from, too. I suspect that they are from some sort of a kit but I could be wrong. I was wondering what this type of needle art is called and worth. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

 

As a child I used to have batiste handkerchiefs embroidered with a rose or other little flower. That's what these remind me of.

 

Hard to tell from your photograph but... these appear to be small embroidered pieces most likely produced from a kit available at the time. The time itself is likely 1960s/1970s. Typically, this type of work has no value beyond sentimental.

As said Debora this is wool tapestry technique with small number of density threads, made as a hobby than other art work.
They are tenths of thousands made for Mother's day or similar occasion, their value is as high as you loved the person who give them to you.
