    Hi! I'm Nancy from beautiful Bucks County, PA. I recently retired and spend time researching objects from my mother, mother-in-law's estates.

    My mother, Elisa, was born and bred in Louisiana. She moved to New York City to find a job and a husband. She was successful at both. Mama was an accessories buyer at Arnold Constable on 5th Avenue in Manhattan in the 40's and 50's. I inherited her fabulous silk scarves, handkerchiefs, pitchers, collectibles and, most of all, her costume jewelry. I love to accessorize my outfits with pieces from her collection. But, there is more than I can possibly use.

    I learned about buying and saving everything from her and have lots of vintage items of my own. It's time for me to start planning for my eventual retirement, and so, I need to part with many of these unusual and hard-to-find vintage objects. I assure you - my loss will be your gain!

    Many of us are in your same boat. I have things going back to my great grandfather. This group has been wonderful helping know what some things are or are not.
