What does this mean on an obviously silver necklace? I have two marked like this- I'd have assumed 18k rolled gold plate but neither necklace look like they have ever been gold plated- both are clearly silver coloured . Thankyou
I think it's one of these from China............. https://www.amazon.com/18KRGP-Copper-Platinum-Wedding-Engagement/dp/B01J63ATW0
I know you were trying to help me Komokwa but that was an unnecessarily rude reply from Silverthwait no matter what I overlooked. And you liked his comment Fortunately HollyBlue kindly provided the correct answer which Silverthwait wasn't able to. So far most members of this forum have been incredibly helpful and tolerant of others learning. Shame the odd one feels the need to mock others and bring it down. Just be kind.It costs nothing and is priceless.
Not so fast there lady....... I didn't find her ( Silver...) comment aimed at you . It was posted under Kyra's pleasant comment.... which u didn't ' Like'. & I don't see it as rude......but rather as an agreement to what Kyra posted ! Now , if you were offended by the comment....or by my liking it ..... I'm sorry that you felt that way....but that's all on you....not on me. I've been personally attacked ...called names...& my character besmirched on this site.................I don't see the " Duh "....as being anything you should get your panties in a bunch about. Silver was agreeing with Kyra.........that's all I saw.
KSW - my apologies!!!! My "Duh" was aimed at ME -- I didn't think of that answer at All -- felt like a right dunce after Kyratango' response. Komokwa --
Thankyou Silverthwait for your kind apology and I completely understand how easy it is to be misunderstood. I feel alot better now I know what the comment meant. At least I know now what that marking means- those necklaces can go into my children’s play collection. I still haven’t quite got over £7.99 for a wedding ring on the link above!
Did you read the product info below the photo in the link?I'm still not sure exactly what the ring is made of,it list the ring as copper and fashion jewelry. Not sure where the 18K and platinum applies.
It says copper plated with platinum although I suspect it's a loose description as seems very vague!. They are actually quite pretty necklaces that came in a job lot- you never know what you are going to find in a job lot which for me is much of the enjoyment searching through and researching.
It was further down on the page "Product specifications",if it were copper plated platinum it would be copper colored.
Yes,but where does the 18K in the description come in next to the ring photo?Every thing together doesn't make sense.
This link just says Platinum colour and that it's white gold plated which brings us back full circle to what Kyratango suggested. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Engraved-KRGP-platinum-jewelry-set/dp/B00XVCT1NG
