I think this is a newer piece of glass based on an older shape and design, sorry I don't know the maker. Perhaps someone with more glass id knowledge can chime in here? :cat:

I think it is newer than I but still in the vintage class. Paden City closed some time in the 1950s if memory is right.

I don't think the bumpy finish is vintage, think maybe it's a reproduction?
Anyone know if Paden City has been reproduced? Cobalt blue is always suspect imo.

    Thanks @TallCakes :cat:

According to Chataboutdg, this bowl has been reproduced.

actually chataboutdg states that a Paden city 'ad' was reproduced in 3 different printings... and that 'ad' shows this bowl...

the color here looks the same to me but the images at chataboutdg don't show much detail. You might post to the chataboutdg forum to see if someone there might provide more insight.

    They also say
“This bowl has been reproduced, and the piece shown here may be a reproduction.”

the chataboutdg bowl pictured is mine and I still have no idea if it's a repro or not. I found it near Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada quite a while back and until this post have never seen another. Hard to say but common sense dictates if they were reproduced you'd think maybe they'd be a little more easily found. Either way it's still a cool bowl.
