My Mom gave me this small glass dish and all she knew about it was that she has had it for as long as she can remember. She's 88 so I don't know how long that frame time is. She says maybe unmarked Heisey but the glass quality and pattern doesn't look like Heisey. So any info will be appreciated as there are no markings on it. At the top dimensions are:
    6" long, 4" wide, 1 1/2" tall.

Thanks - it isn't going anywhere as I just would like to find out what, when, where, and maker.! Funny things about anything glass that finds it's way into this house - they never leave - I just find myself buying more china cabinets!! :singing:

Could it be an ashtray or a trinket box missing the lid?

Definitely not an ashtray - but it may have had a lid that had the opposite teeth on it that locked it into the teeth from the bottom piece. As my parents are very old and breaking things are now their specialty!! :nailbiting:
My Dad is 95 and has broken so many old oil lamps my mother used to have it's almost comical - gotta laugh instead of crying!

Hi there. Glass is so hard to identify. This looks like a stylish little dish and heavy for its size? I am no better than anyone else at identifying glass but I like a challenge and to hunt around. I don't think it is intended to have a lid. Matching all those teeth at the top would be a pain. Might it be Art Deco? I did some Very Random googling and came up with this dish which looks similar? Not a great photo. Identified as Art Deco Federal Glass.

    Hi,
1950s/60s Federal Glass called Park Avenue. Came in a light blue as a reissue as well as crystal.
