So these are some types of prints from his original works?

They are actual paintings (from what I can tell).

If they are originals and not from a collection or museum where they would have been catalogued, I'm not sure you would find them. Or are you thinking, he made several copies of the same work? By the way, I'm not a person of knowledge when it comes to art. I'm just curious about your thought process.

Honestly, I don't know what to think. I am just trying to figure out something/anything about them. I am not a person of knowledge when it comes to art either.

Hopefully, the art people will come by later. You should click on full image instead of thumbnail on your closeups

Apparently, he was both prolific and widely reproduced. They do look like reproductions and the words "Roman Ruins" written in ball point pen certainly suggest that. But better quality photographs would help. The full front and back of both pieces, including frames as well as close-up photographs of the signature and any other markings, labels, etc.

Those are almost certainly decorative reproductions. One way of telling is that the brushwork doesn't follow the painted image. Do you see what I mean? Have you taken them out of their frames? They're likely painted on board, rather than canvas. That style of framing, by way, was popular in the 1960s give or take which would be consistent with the ball point pen marking.

They were just in a corner, not in the best of shape, but I liked them. They need some cleaning up, but definitely want to make sure they are replica b4 I do.

Yes, I see what you mean. I didn't want to take them out of the frames just to be on the safe side. Thanks bunches for the info, I really appreciate it.
